SOG mistake is my gain

I stopped by my favorite gun shop today. I saw a CZ-52 in the case I hadn't seen before. The owner and I get along very well. He told me how he was annoyed that SOG sent him a CZ-52 instead of a CZ-82, so he offered me the 52 at his cost just to move it. Of course I had to pay state sales tax, but at least I saved on shipping. His shipping cost was about $4 to $6 compared to the $30 I would get nailed for if I bought direct. The $9 or so sales tax still got me for a new piece cheaper than I could have gotten it otherwise.

Since the wife didn't get me anything for my birthday, I had to get something myself, apparently. This is my second CZ-52 now.

I'm lost, what did you pay for it total? I'm thinkin you're sayin the $9 for tax and the $4-6 for the shipping. So you sayin you bought a CZ-52 for like $15?!?!?! If so, YIKES! WHAT A STEAL! I'M JEALOUS! lol

I think this little bit clears that up: "so he offered me the 52 at his cost just to move it."

I read that as saying he got it for wholesale price + $4-6 shipping to his gun dealer + $9 retail tax.

Sorry, I just forget that not everybody gets a SOG catalog for their monthly "gun porn mag". $129 is the SOG selling price. Normally I would get dinged for $30 shipping, so even with the tax and shipping cost, I got out cheaper than SOG price for one in great shape.
