I found this in a parts box...

...that came with my recent gun scores ( 2 M1A's)

Colt .22 conversion kit... - (item 220133268919 end time Jul-23-07 03:00:24 PDT)

Not bad for something found eh?

I put it on egay Fri night for $150 no reserve...I had 5 bids almost immediately...went up to $210 with 3 days to go...

Then the bastages pulled my listing because they said they do not allow sales of "Assault weapon parts" on egay.

I turned around and relisted it for only 3 days just a .22 conversion kit...no AR15/M16 reference in the title like before then added buy now for $225 + $8.00 shipping...the guy who had last bid on it contacted me right after and I told him to bid quick at buy now.

I think it would have gone past $300 if they had left it alone...but hey, I'm not greedy...$225 for a found kit in the parts stash I got for free ain't bad!

ebay did the same to me when I was trying to sell a 30 round magazine...after the AWB expired. I told them that it was a perfectly legal magazine to own, even under the ban, but they still replied that it violated their policy against high cap magazines. Go figure.

Sellers used to get around that by showing the mag, and simply stating, "Holds ten rounds". Not a lie.

But I think the buggers have figgered that one out by now.

I have seen .22 rifle "barrels" for sale on ebay - you know, the kind with the receiver built as part of it . . . can you say "Illegal" . . . ?

I really hate policies made by folks who have no clue . . .

For Sale
105 mm howitzer single shot, no magazine, no pistol grip, not the rapid fire model.
Not on banned list. Easily concealed if you have a large termite tarp.

What would ebay have to say about this ad
