| They do get hot! lol The only thing I can think of to do would be get a wood forearm for it, to replace the plastic one, that might help you a bit, and I'd look to spend $30 give or take. You can probably find those on GunBroker.com Online Gun Auction You may also try TAPCO's new milled alum. forearm that has the three Picatinny rails on it. It says it improves cooling, and there are alot more, and alot bigger "vents" on it, so it seems possible, but I don't know first hand. I sure would get one if I had the money for it! That would be awesome on the CETME! It's $150 though Last edited by sean46953; 07-27-2007 at 12:37 PM. Reason: Typo |

| A popular mod is to use the HK "Wide" synthetic forearm with the internal heat shield. Yep, the heat is perfectly normal - our Spanish Ladies are hot little vixens . . . ![]() The muzzle blast? Yep, when she speaks, EVERYBODY listens! Hehehe. We call the CIA Muzzle Brake the "Muzzle Blast Enhancer". I have the scorched burn holes in my old GI Blanket (used on the bench) to prove it! Be careful shooting prone in dry grass . . . I once drove a Bossed bolt-action magnum rifle shooter from the bench, when I let Carmen give him a piece of her mind - all twenty pieces from the magazine. Taught him a lesson on real muzzle blast . . . ![]()

| Super Moderator ![]() | I replaced the muzzle brake on my G3 with a very basic flash hider and have a much milder muzzle blast and no greater recoil. With the ban gone, there's every reason to screw off the ear blasting brakes.
