Have discovered that Krags don't like to feed round nose 30/30 bullets, but I believe that there is a way to make them feed with a minor adjustment inside the receiver. Hollywood would need this arrangement to shoot blanks in movies, so I think it is a well known procedure. If anyone knows about this let me in on it please. I have an old custom Krag that loves 30/30 RN. Spire or pointed bullets feed well, but for some reason do not deliver the accuracy of the RN. The NRA Manual notes this accuracy issue with greater detail, but says nothing about the feeding issue. Thanks Folks. Steverano out.
