ages?

i found out that you don't have to be 18 to buy muzzleloaders, so my question is, do you have to be 18 to buy the components?(propellant, primers, bullets)

Not sure, but I would think so - some crazy lady at Wal-Mart made me show ID for a can of spray paint a couple years ago - I was 34 at that time!

haha the gun counter guy made me show ID for a BB gun(you have to be 16) and check more than the name, even though i had my employee discount card, which you have to be 16 to get(have to be 16 to work at wal mart)

wal mart doesn't sell bullets(we sell ammunition) and guns require a background check, so no one is going to call them crazy for checking IDs on that. it's not like it's the end of world if someone underage gets some ammo, if they can get the gun on the black market they can get the ammo

Wally World goes a little too far sometimes.
I am 65 and look it.
They checked me a couple of months ago when I bought a bottle of glue. WHAT?
Yep, had to show my ID to buy some glue.
The girl and I had a good laugh at it but she said she had to check ALL the folks that bought the glue. She doesn't make the rules so I didn't give her a hard time. I guess they are trying to find out the age of "glue sniffers".

ive casheried a bit before, and its not us that need to know ure age, its the register, u have to type in the date of birth, so i just hope know one , no matter ure age has hard feelings against cashiers

i think u have to be 18 to buy that ingrediants, or else its a combination of what u buy, thatd be my guess.

you need to be 21 to buy black powder probably the same for smokeless powder(theres slightly different rules about true black powder and pyrodex etc.) bullets you may have to be 18 but i kinda doubt it but all the other little tools measuring, cleaning and whatever else you need you can buy no problem. holsters too.

The world is getting more and more ig-nor-rant with each passing year A.H. you old red neck remember when all we wanted was a six pack, a pack of smokes and a friendly girl to make the weekend perfect? Sheesh we weren't no saints but then again we didn't destroy our brains in the process.

i have bought several muzzle loaders and componants mail order. The older kids recieved a couple pakages and the UPS guy left one, containing a completely assembled cap and ball revolve, with my 11 year old. NO questions asked. I dont have a problem with it but thought it was interesting

I bought ammo at Wal-Mart here in NH. (I figure that if I keep the corporation strong, Cubbie will stay employed.) The young fellow carded me, and I'm 52. He appreciated the fact that I did not ridicule him.

Hey A.H. Just had a funny idea. Next time you go to wal mart ot get some spray paint take a picture of yourself with a can a paint and a rag over the top like you were going to huff it and then scale down the picture and stick it over your DL picture. HAHA now that would be funny.

Even the water patrol asked me the other day how old I was and asked to see my driver's license. Then he wanted to measure my fish. He sure was nosey.
