| Got my FEG Today!
Got my new FEG PA-63 today. I also ordered a three pack of hammer springs. I am thinking of trying the 9lb. spring first and then working my way up. Has anyone else used the 9lb spring. Or have any advice on changing it. I took the slide off and the grips and took a look at it and it seems pretty simple to replace it except for the part of keeping it from shooting out across the room when the pin is pushed out of the spring seat.

I have an FEG Mark II. It hasn't failed once and I am through probably 400-500 rounds now. Welcome to the FEG world.

Well i have not fired mine yet and I am already ordering parts to fix it up. I plan on making this my CCW. So I am glad to hear so many good things about this gun. I love the finish on it or should i say lack thereof on the frame and it seems to have a very nice finish on the slide as well. It was the best deal I could find around. I got The gun 2 mags and a cleaning rod and the manual for 180. So I figure it was a decent deal. Also wanted to add that all of mine is matching Serial numbers! I got the three pack from Wolff and tried the 9# first and found I had to fire twice either single or double action to fire a round. I went to an 11# on the barrel and on the hammer spring and it works great with lots less pull than the original. Enjoy! Dave |

dgray, You are using the 11# recoil spring? and the 11# hammer spring? 11# for the recoil is the factory spring rate. I am going to order the firmer set of springs along with the firing pin spring set. That should make it very smooth (i hope).
