| Moderator ![]() | I always keep a .45 handy, as well as a .38 special revolver. I keep a decent stock of .223 ammo and a Bushmaster XM-15 that I can grab for bugging out. I also keep a good stock of ammo for just about everything in my safe, with minor exception, but those exceptions are growing, too. ![]() |

| Ahh..Cordite. ![]() | SKS and .10 gauge ZHTF weapon I came up with this idea after talking to Mr. Seagrams and Mr. 7.. Of course after construction I realized that drinking and fantasy gun construction are two things that should never mix.. I was not drunk while this construction took place..I did the construction on Mon. night and that is my Barbiturate night.. ![]() ![]() and no it will not work the .10g would break my wrist not to mention probably come back at me in anger..oh..and break the mount..which I stole from my son's bicycle.. |

Trader Rating: (1) | Right now it would have to be my m38, because I have lots of rounds for it. Since I don't have a sidearm I choose my kukri for close in stuff, and The half hatchet would be used as an entry or exit tool to get into or out of places. (it also could be used as an improvised weapon if need be.) ![]()

| Senior Member | No pictures but three lever action rifles, a fair number of .45 caliber LCs in the revolver mode, three simi auto pistols, a couple o single shot rifles and one magazine fed. Three shotguns, a pump, a ss double and a crack barrel single.and if push comes to shove a S&W .460XVR with loads to the max. |

| Senior Member | Just a scoped bolt 22, a semi auto 22 with about 1450 rounds, an m44 with maybe 70 rounds, and a double shotgun with 100 target loads and 5 buckshot. One for everybody in the house. This is my first year as a gun owner so my stockpile could use some building up. I wouldn't say I'd be screwed, it all depends on the type and how many. We're in a neighborhood. Put on some heavy winter clothing (can't be turned if they can't bite me), head shots on any I can see, make a break for the next house fifty feet away. If the occupants are friendly they join us, if not they're toast. I'm bound to find more guns and ammo in some houses along the way. |

| Senior Member | Problem with a helmet is you can't hear very well. You don't want to decrease your ability to sense them. Any extra clothing or weight will only slow you down and speed is one of the only things we have over them.
