Don't misunderstand. The problem IS with the AFTER MARKET PROMAG!! NOT the carbine itself. I wouldn't trade my Hi point 9mm carbine for anything. One of my favorites. Just do not buy a ProMag after market 15 rd magazine and expect it to work first time every time. Chances are it won't. Never had any problems with the factory mags don't expect I ever will. It's a great little, reliable firearm and simply a hoot to shoot.
