Buying a SIG P229

I have been looking at a local shop for one, and they have a beauty in the display case. Ive been thinking 'bout leaving a deposit on her. the price tag is about $800. Has about 400 rounds put through her, but alot of custom work done to her. what the details are I don't know yet...but Im gonna find out fer sure!

if you know of any reviews or stuff i should know about this model, please holla!

i would try and talk them down, unless the customization was done by a big name smith it really doesnt add to the value of the pistol. its kind of like customizing a car, you generally lose money on it. the 229 is not a bad pistol, not my favorite 40, but not bad.

I think it was done by a big time gun smith prolly the reason for the price being so high. I will have to go and investigate this some more, fo sure!

Is it a 9mm, a .40 S&W, or a 357 Sig?
