I know the feeling. I work in a gun store and have customers that insist on still calling me "sir" or "young man" even after being corrected. And my big old shotgun raises eyebrows on the range and the sporting clays range, too. But it's getting better. Had a guy surprised yesterday that his gun hurt me. He offered to give me some ammo and I turned it back over after two shots. S&W 500 4" barrel. It seems it crushes your hand into your wrist, then flips your arms over your head (and in my case, into the unused target carrier which is made of steel). I've done the longer ones, but never the shorter ones. But I take it as a good sign that he was amazed the gun injured me. Now we just have to work past the other guys with their "flowers and cookies" comments.

Well.... we seem to have a few Ladies joining in on the Ladies forum now THANKS to TEXAS T . Now that the weather is cooling off I will be going out to the Gun Club and will report on my shooting! I used to live on the other side of the valley and had to drive a long way now that I moved into my new house I just live a few miles, so NO excuse not to get myself and my gear packed up and go dust some birds! Good Shooting!!! Lady Di

GunGal, since you live in Texas have you ever heard of the Y.O Ranch or have you been huntinh there before? Lady Di

. I'm married to BattleRifleG3 so I've been well armed, and am slowly getting educated. I'll I can say is that I was armed and dangerous before I met him, he's just supplied the fire-power

Jethro Bodine who wuz on the Beverly Hillbillys and the lady folks say I look like Elvis
but I can sang better than him and wiggle my legs better too !!!
But I don't comb my hair back like Jethro or Elvis. I parts my hair between the middle and the side.
And I have RED hair when it's clean...It looks Brown if'in I ain't washed it in a while.
I sports a Mushstash...I keep it trimmed real perty like. I've got dark brown almost black eyes. I've got all my teeth and I have a sexy smile. Or I use to did.
Let's see what else I'm 6' 2" tall musular build, Big hands ! My Momma use to say I should of been a surgeon cause I had big hands I guess she thought I could really grab holt of peoples innards and pull'um out.
I have 12 inch feet that are EEE wide and a heart of gold.
