Snowey birds

Went hunting grouse yesterday(spotting for deer and elk as the hunt is opening in a few days). first two pics from then didnt see a thing but it was beautifully snow day

Woke this morning to sunny blue sky and temps in the low 30's
found a few ruffies but the boy had to work so we could only go out for an hour the light snow with promise of more tomarrow had the deer moving good too. But all we saw were doe.

Funny how the birds don't really seem to mind the snow

snow already, thats great! Grouse are an enigma but great while scouting deer or relieve the boredom and frustration in deer hunting. I actually talk to other deer hunters, let them know my temporary route, therye glad in case I flush some deer their way. Nice scenery.
