| Browning Buckmark maintenance
What tool do I need to take down my new Browning Buckmark Camper? They show this rod in the manual, but they don't show the male end of it very detailed. I got the hex wrench and know what to do with it. Under the barrel, there is an opening that looks made for a slightly larger hex-wrench, but nothing I have, metric or other, seems to fit it. Am I missing a tool?

The wrench that fits that is 7/64. You rarely need to take the barrel off though. When you do you also need to remove the phillips screw in the sight up top.

Thanks. I don't know why the manual showed someone taking the barrel apart. It shows it more than once. I'll re-read it. It's past my bed-time.

I took mine apart last night and cleaned it. Super dirty, I think those little guns are the best gun out there. Be sure to remember how your sear spring goes in I had a heck of a time remembering how to put it back in.

Thanks gentlemen. I noticed now the section of the manual I read was more on disassembly than maintenance. I just need basic maintenance and it sounds like I can do that without removing the barrel. Thanks again.
