Kimber versus Novak Sights

Could a Stainless target II Kimber 1911, with it`s adjustable sights, be fitted with a set of Novak sights?
See here`s the deal. Due to a limited market, I can not buy a Stainless II Kimber with fixed sights in 38 super or 9mm. I want fixed sights, they are better lookin` guns.
Can it be done?

I would tend to tink the front and rear dovetail are a standard size, but you would be left witha relief cut on the rear.

Thats what I thought Jerry. Adjustables have 2 dovetail slots, non has one.

Our little tin pot market here makes me wanna tear my hair out at times, near everything you buy has to have some compromise..

You will never regret buying the Kimber. I have an Ultra Carry ll and just paid off another Kimber in .38 Super.

Thanks KnightRider, however you might want to check my location

E.T.A. for the next Kimber parcel is mid April. If I want one I`m thinking I`ll have to order one at my local shop, as I`m working 72 hour weeks of late and can`t get away to the shop that might have one.
