smith and wesson 625

I have a 625 with a 4 inch barrel made in 2003. Id like to put a red dot sight on it. all the bases that ive been looking at are for guns that have been drilled and tapped from the factory. Are they talking about the screw holes that hold the rear sight on?

Yes. A Smith made in 2003 is probably drilled and tapped. If there is more than one hole under the rear sight, you are in luck.
