Hey, there's only so much you can say and only so many times the same question can be asked. Besides, I talk guns every single day for 12 hours straight, I need something to break it all up! LOL!

The best answer to the question of how many guns do you own is, "All I have plus the next one I see and like at the next gun show." Is there really such a thing as too many guns..or bullets?

The estrogen level is steadily rising. Welcome to all the newcomers and thanks for the warm welcome from all. This is a great group and I have to admit there is more activity in all the forums from the ladies in this group than any other that I've encountered so far.

I've seen the same behavior around where I live. Most hunters around here are not shooters. They break the rifles and shotguns out once a year during duck and deer season and then lock them back up again until the next hunting season rolls around.

I was in a gun shop recently and encountered one such animal who was bringing his shotgun into be cleaned before hunting season. That tickled me. To me one of the joys of shooting is sitting with my hubby after an afternoon of target practicing, cleaning our weapons....and reloading more rounds.

Wished we lived closer...I'd shoot with you guys!

Howdy stikbutter, well I ran a mapquest on us and we are almost 200 miles apart LOL, just a tad far to get together to shoot but I sure wish we were closer, it would be cool to find someone willing to share some hands on knowledge. I am 5 minutes from I-75 between Knoxville and Chattanooga.

I hear that. We're in prime scoping time right now. We've got loads of people willing to pay money to have us bore sight their scopes, attach their scopes, and someone save me from shooting them in. I had this guy come up to me that easily stood a foot taller than me with arms like a gorilla and asked me to shoot in his rifle for him. And he didn't understand when I explained I'd do it, but it would be accurate for me and not so accurate for him. Anyway, I don't have my rifle scoped yet, but when I get the scope I fully plan to put it on myself and do every last thing myself. I understand taking advantage of free mounting and bore sighting after buying a $600 scope, we all want our freebies. But to bring me five rifles and scopes and be willing to pay $25 for me to do it instead of you is just weird.

Ya know, if my scope flies off my rifle during a shot and brains me and/or gets destroyed, I want to lay the blame on no one but myself.

I thought it was wierd too when someone told me they take their rifles in to have them sighted. I sight my own in and it works for me.

Sorry ladies I've been off the forum for awhile, it was hunting season in Minnesota where I live. Now I'm getting my grandma fix out here in North Carolina visiting my daughter and her family for Thanksgiving.

I also am working online on my MBA in Quality Management. Upper Iowa University has a good program for a Masters Business Administration with a specialty in Quality. This will take up much of my time also.

I'll still come around when I can.

You're a great group of gals.
