With those names, I bet it would have a hard time passing.

I want to some of your opinions on just this subject.
If say Hilldog, gets elected as supreme chancelor of the United states. And begins enacting a lot of crazy laws, *no pistols grips, no high cap mags etc* Do you think these will be retroactive, meaning will it not matter when you got it or will it be another pre ban post ban thing? I am doing all I can now to get squared away before hand. I'm buying ammo, getting my ccw. Things like that, But are we going to be able to be ready for what might occur? I mean I don't think they could ever truly take our guns away, it would be a mess. But what do you guys think??

Welll Pilgrim, I wouldn't worry too much about the political idiots in this here country
When TSHTF They'll all be screaming that every person able to carry a gun should have one ! It's a matter of expediency you see. It's then that the antis will be screaming for us "gun totin idiots" to "Come to the aid of our country." But as I said I wouldn't worry too much; according to the Mayian calendar this foolishness will all end in the year of our Lord 2012.

That Shiz-nit wouldn't fly in PA, i think when you're born you get handed an 870 or atleast a 10/22, your pick. We have the highest gun ownership, i'm 21 and have 3 personally(looking to have 5 before then end of next year, a glock 19 and ar-15).

I dont believe you are watching what is happening right now. At present we have an outbreak of gangs and gang shootings. The media and leftwing politicians are yelling "SOMETHING MUST BE DONE TO STOP THESE GANGS FROM KILLING PEOPLE". The politicians are saying "THE WAY TO STOP CRIMINALS WITH ILLEGAL FIREARMS FROM KILLING IS TO TAKE LEGAL FIREARMS AWAY FROM LEGAL OWNERS". Not one word about taking the illegal guns and prosicuting the criminal commiting the crime. If they are that stupid now,when they get the legal firearms and crime increases they will be even more stupid and blame the crime rate on the fact that legal people posess things that criminals dont so like gun posesion,they will make it legal for criminals to take honest peoples property and illegal for honest people to posess legal property. Thats what they are doing with guns right now. It is a lot easier to take things away from people that obey the law. Criminals dont give illegal things up so easy. sam.

I guess you weren't watching New Orleans after Katrina when the mayor was confiscating the legal guns from their owners so the looters would have a better chance to rip you off. Then when caught, denying he did it.

This is such backward thinking...a law-abiding citizen is only allowed 10 rounds while the law-breaking citizen is shooting back with 30. I hate to think what would happen if we were ever invaded on our own soil, let alone all the problems we already have with gangs and violent offenders.

Gunney, going all "Rambo" wouldn't be your best option... in a situation where we are attacked on our own soil, being perched in a good overwatch position with a high-powered bolt-action rifle would accomplish a he!! of a lot more than charging into battle with a 12 guage pump...which has the shortest effective range of just about any other firearm out there. Now, that's assuming that they even bothered to attack us with soldiers instead of ICBM's.
