| Senior Member | No need for a gun, even the bears in Canada are passivists. LOL. Wasn't Canada voted the "Friendliest country on planet Earth"? Okay, I'll give this a go...but I really only need 10 items. 1. This gun: (Browning BLR .300 WSM) ![]() With LOTS of bullets. That still counts as one item, right? 2. A global satellite phone so I can get my @$$ rescued! 3. A very warm sleeping bag to use while waiting for the rescue crew. 4. Knife, to use for cutting a steak off of the moose I shoot while waiting for the rescue crew. 4. Windproof lighter to start the fire that I'll cook that steak over. 6. My Under Armour thermal underwear so I can lounge in style while waiting for the rescue crew. 7. A fork to eat that steak with while waiting for the rescue crew. (According to Miss Manners, it is rude to use your fingers) 8. My laptop with phone card, so I can keep all you guys on G&G updated on my experience while waiting to be rescued. 9. A nice bottle of Cabernet, cause it goes oh so well with that moose steak while waiting to be rescued. and last, but not least... 10. My change jar with all the Canadian coins I keep getting stiffed with at the grocery store, for when I get rescued. I could finally spend them!

| Senior Member | Good one Dave, but I like my Satellite phone better! Both my place in Idaho, and the one here in Montana are within 60 miles of the Canadian border, so if I HAD to, I guess I could use the map. LOL. B2B...That's a little impractical, don't ya think? I mean, come on, TWO tweezers??? Although, I can never find mine when I have a sliver, so a spare isn't a bad idea at all.

| Senior Member | More than 180 rounds? Ehhh...I've lugged 200 rounds of 30-06 ammo around an range before, and I wouldn't want to be carrying that much weight with me when I'm trying to survive. If I need more than 180 cartridges...I'm in trouble, and should probably be focusing on other things. |
