| Member | Not much, sadly. I have an early one (4 digit serial #). Mine is a take down version. I really don't know much about it (got it at a garage sale). | Moderator ![]() | From the 25th Edition of the gun Trader's Guide, I find the Savage Model 1903 and the Model 1909, both slide-action with box magazines. The M1903 was produced from 1903 to 1921, worth $225 in Excellent condition, $153 in Good condition. Octagon barrel. The M1909 was produced from 1909 to 1915, worth $195 in Excellent, $133 in Good. Round barrel. Both are listed as "hammerless, take-down". All other Savage slide-actions had the tubular magazine. So, a nice old .22LR rifle, but it won't make you rich to sell it.
