Model 370 Winchester single barrel 12 ga and a double hammer SxS I got off my brother. They inspired me to buy my first rifle, a Colombian Mauser. that was 1981.

My first gun was a Four Hundred and Ten Sears and Robuck Singleshot Shotgun.
I think I was 6 or 7 years old when my Dad presented it to me. I let a feller talk me into tradeing it for his Revelation 3 shot boltaction shotgun.
To this day and after I traded it I've regretted doing that.
You didn't see folks around these parts with one of them kinda shotguns back then.
I was 13 years old when I did that and my Daddy was Pissed !
When I got the Sears 410 my only older brother recieved the same gun but in 20ga.

I traded him a bag of M&M's for his back then and ever so often he'll ask me to give it back and some day I will...A.H

A Mossberg .410 3-shot bolt action with interchangeable chokes.

I got it for $12.00 when I was about 12 years old, in like-new condition and it was my best-buddy for hunting squirrel for many years.

Apparently none of us guys bothered to look and see this was on the women's forum. Then again perhaps it was a cry in the dark from our subconscious? LOL

It's just your inner woman crying for attention, guys.

As for my first gun, it was a HiPoint 9 carbine that my husband bought for me last Christmas.

This Christmas he bought me a bolt action 17cal. There have been a lot of hand guns and rifles between then and now, but these two weapons hold special places in my heart if you can say such things about guns.

Hello big Boys....

Ehhemm.. Football!!

Anyway, I saw this post on the front page and didn't notice it's the women's forum. Tough..

First "gun" was a Daisy BB gun at 5.

First GUN was a Winchester 37A Youth in 20 gauge when I was 13.. Unfortunately, it was too short for me, even at 13. The next year I got a Marlin 780 bolt action .22, which I still have and shoot fairly often.
My Dad and I traded off the 37A on a Savage 12 gauge pump (which I don't have, either)..

Aside from a series of BB/Pellet rifles, my first "bullet" rifle was a Remington 521. It was very accurate, and great to take rabbit hunting and plinking. Wished I still had it, can't remember when we separated paths. ...ShootToLive

My first gun is one my Dad gave me about 15 years ago. It is a Remington Nylon 66-22. I still have it but it's been years since I shot it.

And of course I bought my first handgun today!!!
