ATV winch

I found a 3,000 pound winch on sale at Harbor Freight. It was complete with mounting plate, 4 roller fairlead, wires and the nuts and bolts to install it.
It was on sale for only $69. It was a good deal and I saved $100. Its also a wireless remote control.
I made a few modifications to my Kawasaki Prairie, made a mounting bracket and it fits perfect.
I sure could have used this last Thursday!! One of the toughest rides I've ever been on. My older brother tipped his quad over and got a little dinged up, I got stuck in a spot that I stood a chance of going over a cliff and needed help to get out. This ride turned out to be more scary than fun.
I've only had to use a winch once but I sure wish I had one last week.
And since its remote control I would suggest putting an on/off switch between it and the battery just in the rare case a garage door opener or other remote device tries to operate the winch.

Sounds like a good deal, I know I could have used one a lot of times trying to push other 4wheelers out of a mud hole.
