| The only way to get surplus FALs is to build them on surplus kits made from cut receiver guns, and those had their heyday a few years ago. They cannot be imported complete due to the fact that they were not originally semi-auto, but select-fire. Semi-auto only versions built on parts kits ultimately are new rifles using donor parts from the military ones.
