| Member | I finally got one! Here's the Remington 1903A3 I just bought. As far as I can tell (need to do more research) it's all Remington. Barrel is 2-43 with a spotless bore & fantastic rifling. Serial # is 3438XXX. I think that puts it in mfg of 2 or 3 of 43 as well. I hope it's the original barrel to the rifle. The stock is aftermarket & the repark is recent. I was really looking for a nice shooter & I think this is it. The bottom two pics show the park job pretty well. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Member | Thanks guys. According to the seller, this one was sporterized & he returned it to it's former glory. Luckily for me, his work truck engine blew & needed the cash. He REALLY didn't want to sell it. It looks so nice I don't want to shoot it. OH, I will of course but with kid gloves. |

| Senior Member | I had to run to the gun safes and make sure mine are still there!!!!!! They are! Good find. You now have a true American legend in a weapon. They are great shooters, btw.

| Member | That is pretty!!! I got an A4 over 40 years ago, it was my baby, shoot like a laser. The guy I got it from restocked it (lost some $$$ there) but I only paid $75 for it. Mine is #Z400xxxx). Sure wish I had bought more of these. The big shame I have no one to leave it to. |
