| That's correct.. Doesn't matter if you use your license to buy it or not. If you buy it and you're licensed, you have to record it.
I wondered about this around 9 months ago and someone here actually showed me the ruling in the book that states that all C and R eligible weapons purchased while you're a license holder must be recorded, whether you used your license to buy it or not..
So, now I record all eligible guns no matter where I purchased them.
