Here`s a target I used yesterday testing 165 gr BT Noslers and various charges of ADI 2206H powder. I think I found the right recipe, you guess which one told me the story

100 yards, strong head wind, I`m out there today to fine tune the zero.

Err, edit: with my VLP Savage, pretty guns shoot betterer

Bill: shoot 3 shot groups, or have a sandwich between shots, you`ll avoid fliers

Dang I envy you that cold, but only at the range. Barrel would be cooling before the pill hit the cardboard.

11f, man I`d have a fire going..

i measure a single hole smudge to smudge and then subtract that from the group hole.
single hole 0.281
group hole 0.811
group is 0.530

that is so you guys understand that i dont randomly make this crap up.

Good shooting.Dont expect miracles in nice weather like you are having. When it really gets cold so you can hold steady you will do better.By the way,our snow is gone but it turned cold again. In the 20,s. sam.

I use the gloves that weight lifters and such use. They have the fingers cut out and some padding in the palm area. Works for me. Not sure I would like them in 11 degree weather though.

Good shooting!

Looks good billy but how far is 105 meters ? My Ruger Hawk Eye 308 shoots 3 shot groups with bullet holes that touch each other at 100 yards.

The load you are using looks the goods billy.Unless you are going to be shooting competition or just like mucking around i would zero it and use it for hunting mate.

Its funny mate,we are metric system over here, but we still use the imperial system too. When we talk boat or tinnies its still feet.If someone tells me a tinny is such and such metres i still work it out into feet.
