Post break in teardown

Got 300-400 rounds down tube. Broke 'er down. Checked wear, polished up with the JB. Coated in Magna lube (PTFE grease) ready to wipe down, re-assemble and function check. BTW, my MIM parts didn't dissenegrate when I removed them from the frame. Cool!

those 1911's are a simple take down breakdown after ya do em a time or 2, are a lot of fun to tinker with

Right JR, (don't kno 'bout pro though) the Norinco gave me the confidence to learn. I never had to worry too much about goofing it up.

Looks good and the more I'm at G&G I kinda am getting a hankering to have a 1911.

Just curious, do you always break it down all the way just to clean it? It isn't necessary is it?

This was the first complete strip after initial 500 rounds. Normally I go every 1000. Regular filed strip maint in between.
