New Eagle Scout

Well it's official my younger son is now an Eagle Scout. Ceremony to be announced. Funny when my older son earned his Eagle he waited until he was almost 18 before he did his project and finished. My younger boy said he wouldn't wait till the end to finish up. But of course he did. He did his project in September and finished the paperwork and turned it in in the beginning of November. He turrned 18 on Nov. 12th.

Good job. I know what it takes as both my sons are eagles. From a "OLD" scoutmaster.

Congratulations to both your Son and you. I'm sure your proud of his accomplishment, as well you should be. There aren't too many things in this world that take that much dedication to achieve. The fact that he steadfastly persevered and saw it through to completion will mean a lot to him in his future and to anyone else that can understand what it takes.

I completed my Eagle 6 (has it been that long ago?!?!) years ago now, and it has opened many, many doors for me. Everywhere he goes, and in everything he does he will find others who are part of the fraternity of Eagle Scouts. While nearly two months after the fact, a hearty congratulations is in order!

Congratulations from another old Eagle Scout (1970). There aren't many kids as dedicated these days. You both have every right to be proud.
