You know, it's like every other part of our society, there's a certain percentage of bad apples. And you can't get away from it. The big difference is veterans, and to an extent, police officers, have served on that thin line to defend this great nation. And most don't ask for a thing in return. For a society to turn on it's defenders and abuse them after what they've already been through is wrong, one of the worst wrongs I can imagine. Some people manage to live their entire life without ever experiencing the completely overwhelming fear of dying. My sons said it all when each came home, and said Dad, now I understand. It hurts to know that they now carry the same burden that I tried to bury for so long. But it brought us closer than ever, and I love those boys more than I can ever describe adequately. Scotty
