Rabbit hunting today

Went with my brother. We got a couple of rabbits and squirrell. There were alot of coyote tracks in the snow.

Brother had his Nikon in the truck. I took some pics on my cell and didn't save them

Were going for a while in the morning again. I'll try not to screw up again.

Thanks they were taken within 10 minutes of each other.

Cotton tails and tree rats always make a good gravy/soup with potatoes in with them.

Gotta love the gravy
I drain the oil and keep the drippings. Add a can or two of cream of mushroom soup and a little milk, stir it up and heat it good. Pile it over the top of some bisquick biscuts, viola!

I am ready to get some squirrels too. Modern gun Deer season is over and all I got to say is....Look Out Squirrels Here I Come !!!
My Step Father due to his age built 5 ground stands which are 4 walls built with 1 X 10 cedar boards with tin roofs.
I'll take my 2 new Marlin rifles 1 being a 22 lr. and the other 22 mag. and see if I can collect a few.

I got out today squirrel hunting and took three, and every one was a big old tough male, with Hicks on them that would rival a beagle. These may be good candidates for the pressure cooker.
