I can say this, Basspro is good Sporting Goods Equipment - Fishing, Camping, Hunting, Boating, Marine, & Outdoors Gear & Equipment - Bass Pro Shops but you get only one choice(TRADIDITIONS) They may have good ammo (I have tried) But Hornady makes much better round balls Hornady Believe me thats all i use! And yes you can buy them on Their website. OOOOOOR! if MidwayUSA – Shooting Supplies, Reloading, Gunsmithing, Ammunition, Gun Parts & Rifle Scopes has what you want in Hornady ammuntion it might be good.

Wal-Mart Should not be a consideration. Every dollar that you spend there will go to the parent company in China. I also know for a FACT that they hire people who do not have ethics. Message, me for details. |

ouch. Why don't you get a mold and make your own round balls, i do and it is very easy and fun to do, and with a little research you can find different size round balls for the same calibers. i shot a .498 round ball in my 50 and it works great. steve

I use Speer .440 round balls. We use the Speers simply because when we were target shooting, we found they had a more consistant weight than Hornady. I use a lot of Hornady center fire ammo and have no problem with it. I order the Speers at my local gun store.

I like Dixie Gun Works Dixie Gun Works muzzleloading, blackpowder and rare antique gun supplies. for my online BP stuff, MidwayUSA has a good selection also. Not sure who has the best prices, but both companies have been good with me.
