Question

I have a matching pair of 800m mossberg rifles one in 243 and one in 308, does anyone know if mossberg made them in any other calibers and if they did are any available.

I don't believe so. But, if you go to either of these two websites maybe you can find out, mail, call or email them?
O.F. Mossberg & Sons, Inc. - Firearms, Shotguns, Rifles, Accessories, and Precision Machining At this one check the discontinued models. Not sure how far back they go though.

NATIONAL MOSSBERG COLLECTORS ASSOCIATION

Hope this and they can help you out.

My references say .308 and .243. I have a .308, and it's a nice little deer rifle. I especially like the two-stage trigger. It's too bad these guns did not make it commercially. The only thing I don't like is that it is a little fiddly to load with my arthritic fingers.

I bought mine in like-new condition with a no-name 4x scope in a pawn shop for $150 a couple of years ago.

They were designed by Louis Seecamp, of tiny .32 pistol fame.

thanks for the input gentlemen. I have looked in the blue book and it says that the 800 was made in 4 calibers 222,22-250, 243, and 308, but it does not mention the first two in the paragraph about the 800m, and i was just wondering if anyone had ever seen it in the 222 or 22-250 versions. again thanks.
