CVA Frontier carbine with pyrodex pellets?

I have a cva frontier carbine in .50 and was wondering if I would be able to use pyrodex pellets instead of regular black powder. It uses regular #11 caps not the 209 primers.

Yes, that should be fine. The problem with pellets is side locks that the fire channel does not go behind the powder but on the side of it. Usually it works anyway but you may have some missfires.

Jaeger,
It sure will work but I would trust loose pyrodex with a #11 cap than solid pellets.
