Your gun was made in 1973.
A M52-2 with the box? And four magazines? I hate you.

Bookman It also had a handgrip scopemount with reddot sight and a rather large price tag. But I hadn't seen one for so long I grabbed it. the original grips were on it when I bought it when he brought out the scope and mount I just went DUH. thanks for the info.

Thumbs up S&W MDL 52

Boomer ~ CONGRATS!!! One fine piece!! I have had mine for awhile now and need to get some bullets in to reload before I use up all the match stuff I found at a gun show a couple years ago. I dressed mine up a bit with some Ivory grips. She likes them just fine.

Tusker I like your grips thats one fine looking 52 can't wait to see how mine shoots. many years ago (80's) I shot at Ft. Riley KS. in the regionals and one guy on my team was shooting a 52 instead of a NM 45. I always thought I would like one, so now I can find out.
