To be honest Eric,

Neither.

I'm not sure what you expect from an airgun, nor what kind of budget your willing to alot for one, but I'll give MY suggestions.

I see that Gamo runs upwards of $350, so I'll give you some suggestions based on that- and what to expect.

You absolute best bang for the buck-

Beeman R9 Goldfinger Air Rifle

Its a fair bit more than the Gamo in your link, But its absolutely no contest in quality and performance. Seriously. If you handled and shot both the $350 Gamo and a Beeman R9, you would NEVER even consider picking up the Gamo other than to put it back in the box and return it. The R-9 would be a rifle you own for life.

The Gamo's are manufactured in Spain. The R-9 is imported by Beeman from Germany, where its manufactured by Weihrauch.

I won't go into massive details, but if you want more info just ask.

Depending on your needs, other rifles to consider,

Beeman R7 Air Rifle with Optional Scope and Mount

Weihrauch HW50S Air Rifle

RWS Model 34 Air Rifle

There are quite a few others, Check out all the RWS guns, they are probably the most affordable choices while still retaining good german quality.

I believe they likely sell most of those at the site you linked as well. Straightshooters easily has the best customer service I've dealt with, so Im a bit partial to them. I like being able to call on the phone and talk to the owner everytime, and get actual advice instead of a sales pitch.
