| 1888 Winchester
I have a Winchester .22 short. It's a 1885 low wall model. Serial #19013 MFG. 1888 24 inch full octagon barrel. At the bottom of the barrel just in front of the forearm stock is the #1. Plain stock with an ebony inlay at the tip of the forearm. Sights are original. I can not find an estimate price value for this gun. Would appreciate any information. |

Condition really determines value on these old Winchesters...Yours is in fair shape...not real good. I will give you a ballpark figure since I can only see one side...450.00 to 750.00 at 25% to 50% Condition . If it were in better shape like 95% it would bring 1400+ ! Rich

Thanks for the info. The photo could be better. I'd say it's more in the 60-70% range. Either way, I'm happy with the price range you gave me. Thanks again. |

As an appraiser, I have to say Less than 50% due to less than 90% of the original blueing on the barrel, No blueing on the receiver, wood is well dinged , And lots of rust pitting on receiver, barrel, Cocking lever and Hammer... I Grade guns all the time, but I bet there are a number of Gun dealers in your area that could grade it for you hands on...They can show you in the Blue Book how guns are graded and pictures of graded Winchesters.
