| Registered User | Dammit that is good shooting. I didn't know they made a military trainer, might change my mind about the 452 American I want..... Well I finally made it to Gander Mountain. My friend raves about the place but this was my first time. Anyway they had the CZ 452 American for $399 with a $60 off tag! The one on the rack had a few nicks so they looked in the back and only had the Standard and Trainer models. ARRRGGHHHHHHHH!!!! They also had a 453 American but it was a hundred bucks more. I don't really need the set trigger so my search continues. Last edited by vwdude; 01-18-2008 at 08:27 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

| Registered User | My CZ 452 I just bought a CZ 452 American in .22 LR and I found that it shoots cloverleafs at 50 yards with either Remington Subsonics or Wolf Match. I also installed a timney trigger in it. ( a big improvement over the factory trigger.) It's scoped with a Leupold VXII 4-12. Then my dad went and bought a 452 Lux. This gun came with the prettiest stock. It has all kinds of curly looking details in the Turkish walnut stock. They are both excellent rifles. I paid $360 for mine at Cabelas. Does anybody have 452 non magnum magazines for sale?? Please let me know. |

| Registered User | It will be worth the wait. Took the 453 out to the range last weekend. We all took turns shooting at pieces of bullet jackets (smaller than a dime) on the sand backstop @ 50 yards. Shotgun hulls were just not a challenge at that distance. Of course, this is from a bag with 14X Burris scope and Eley Sport ammo. Everyone loves the little CZ, especially the set trigger. Guess the short heavy barrel of the 453 Varmint doesn't hurt accuracy. It shares home with a 97B, '52 and an SP01. Nice groups, Billy. You are the CZ man. |
