drywallguy: Sir; without question a 'shotgun' for around the house work. My preference a Pump shot gun. The 'Miss'ss" will be able to handle this piece of equipment.

Next; Revolver, preferable .357 caliber. You can and should practice with .38's which will work in your .357.
