Well, I just sent off for mine and the waiting game has started. From what i gathered from this forum here is what you gain:

Shipping of C&R qualified firearms directly to your home with out transfer fees.

Discounts on ammo.

Ability to gain dealer prices.

Excuse to buy firearms.

Empty check book and wallet.

Increased skill at hiding, downplaying amount on receipts, invoices and new acquisitions.

Need to convert the basement into a very large gun safe.

And if the wife does not share your love for firearms or does not at least understand your love of firearms....things could get ugly quickly.

To get one just go on the BATF website and request the paperwork for a 7CR license. The cost is 30 bucks for three years. If you buy one or two firearms in those three years then you save transfer fees you will pay for your license.
