Hey NC please keep me posted on the results, I have a new marlin 22 mag I haven't shot but maybe 10 times and I don't even know what brands of ammo are available.
All I see around here is Winchester fmj or hollow points.
I bought a 22 rifle identical to it to and it looks like a keeper.
I put a cheap Simmons 8 point 3 X 9 40mm scope on it but I don't have the 22 mag rigged out yet.
I'll be looking for some quality ammo too...A.H

EDIT...I had an older 22 mag I traded for for this newer and better one, I hope.
I do know you don't want to shoot Hollow Points to harvest squirrels.
I shot a rabbit in a head at about 50 yards one time with a 22 mag hollow point and when I got to him half his head was gone. was very nasty...A.H
