| Senior Member | Are you sure you're in the right forum?... I looked and the only .22lr converstion kit they have is for a 1911 and they have some 10/22 barrels. Anyways, putting a .22lr barrel and chamber on a CETME would just be sacrilidgeous. ![]()

| Member | Hk 91/63 .22 Conversion Kit With Two 20 - Rd. Mags, Shooting Supplies at Sportsman's Guide here's the link. It's German army surplus. Sounds like a great deal. My 308s are starting to have to sit in the closet more. what with the price of ammo any more. Mine is supposed to come by the weekend. I can't wait to try it out. It cost me just short of 500. I figure I'll get that back after the first 1000 rounds or so. The 22 barrel slides into the regular barrel. Then you put in the 22 bolt carrier. reqaseble and away you go. |

| Senior Member | Hot damn!... I wonder why searching the site for ".22lr" didn't come up with that; weird. That's an interesting item and would turn the CETME into an all-around survival rifle, since you could use the .308 for self-defense and big game while using the .22lr for getting small game for food. Admittedly, the CETME's kind of heavy for a survival rifle, but at that point it's two rifles in one! Oh, if only I had the $500 to throw at that!...

| Member | .22 conversion kit Well ups deliverd. It's a simple blowback design. The bolt asm doesn't use the recoil spring. The carrier is open at the end. It uses just the weight of the bolt. The magazines have a pin that goes into a hole in the barrel adapter to hold it in place. Its a neat looking piece. It fits my ptr perfectly. It's a great training tool. I can shoot using the same sights etc. I'll just find some small targets and shoot a 50 yds instead of 400. I'll try it this weekend. |

| Moderator ![]() | Looks like an interesting concept. I'd love one, but can't justify the price. If they could knock a couple C-notes off the price, I'd go for it!
