I want to rebarrel a Savage 11 in a WSM. Are all Savage barrels the same size, same thread regardless of caliber. Should I find a good Savage barrel of the right caliber, I could get it chambered and save the threading of the barrel. I figure that it will be the same feed mechanism and mags. Why reinvent the wheel. Thanks
