| Moderator ![]() | "The FBMG Zombie Loadout is not guaranteed against vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, demons, doppelgangers, Cthulhu or his minions, giant radioactive animals, chupacabras, wendigos, sasquatch, scientologists, space aliens, mummies, Frankenstein’s monster, or major league baseball." Too bad - I demand more versatility - those baseballs can be deadly . . . ![]()

| Senior Member | It cracks me up that no matter which gun forum I go to zombies are always a theme. Maybe they will really come someday. Hell, a blonde haired zombie is about to be elected President of the United States!

| Moderator ![]() | We already have a Zombie as Speaker of the House. The Zombie voting block has been a part of politics for years - do y'all really thing the DEAD cast all those votes in Chicago? Nah, it was the Zombies . . . ![]() "When Hell is full, the Zombies will walk the Earth . . .", and get elected to a multitude of posts nationwide. It's already happening. ![]()

| Senior Member | The zombies must have a more powerful voting bloc than we thought. I mean, both of the senators from the Peoples Democratic Republic of New York are zombies; at least two of the representatives from the NYC metroplex are; the so-called "speaker of the House," absolutely; and I'm not so sure about the Secretary of State! |

| Senior Member | You guys had to go and say the Z word. Anybody who is preparing for the inevitable zombie invasion will agree the only way to go is a custom zombie system that is tailored to that individual's needs. I go with the AR and a 15 round .40 CZ. The guy down the street might use a 12 ga and a hatchet. Either way, spreading zombie awareness is an important public service.

| Senior Member ![]() | I don't need the kit. I have an extended magazine to adapt to my Mossberg 930 semi- auto W/24'' barrel and a transport truck load of 00 buck shot. When it wears out I'll sick HERBERT the Zoombie destorying G-Pig on them. LOL...A.H |

Please try to refrain from degrading the honor of zombies in the future, Or I as their attorney will have to take legal action. No presidential candidate, meeting the description above, has met the rigorous minimum standards of the national zombie board and as such, is unable to be certified and/or legally use the honored tile of "zombie". Thank You I.M. Azombie JD | |

| Senior Member | I made my own kit about 1.5 years ago. It was June 06 2006 and of course the discussion of an apocalypse arose between me and some friends drinking on the porch during some summer rain. We decided that the most likely apocalypse would be a zombie one, not a religious one. We started planning our various escape routes out of the city and what we would do and where we would go. I google mapped every national guard armory with in 20 miles, and every gun and sporting goods store with in 20 miles. Set forth plans A thru plan G just in case our plans didn't work out. We also organized each plan with the notion if the previous plan failed we would be starting from that point. So, if plan A failed plan B started right from where plan A could possibly fail. We also organized equipment for survival. We figured this is what each person should have. -2 sets of clothing, this includes socks, under wear, pants and a shirt -1 coat to keep warm if need be -one pistol, probably 9mm easiest to handle w/ at least 2 magazines -100 9mm rounds -eye protection - ie sunglasses -travel pack to carry equipment in -rifle or shotgun (depends on the person but use most common gauge and caliber since ammo could be scarce) -250 rounds for your rifle/shotgun -short range walkie talky or radio -binoculars -dehydrated food -basic disinfectant and bandages -map -compass -survival knife -small blunt hand to hand object (like a billy club) -canteen or other water carrying device Each person in the group would carry a variation of that. Also travel in small groups, like 6 people and use the walkies to communicate. Its best if you get the walkies you can crank and do not require battery power. Then in each group 1 to 2 people need the following: -Full on medical kit -antibiotics -bandages, medical tape, and other various medical tools like needle and thread for stitches -bolt cutters -demolitions (if applicable, if no one knows how to use, store or handle, forget this option) -extra ammo These people that are carrying the extra equipment probably won't be armed as well as the others and it is their duty to stay alive with the extra gear, so they should be your fastest runner. Also, things to avoid are: flame throwers, heavy machine guns, ordinance weapons, or any other type of weaponry that involves high maintainence and long training to handle. You will most likely hurt yourself using such things. |

| Member | aparrently yall dont have the same expirience with zombie shooting as i do a good .22 is best like a ruger 10/22 i mean not extremely accurate but effective for head shots, u can carry lots of ammo, virtually no recoil, and ammo can be picked up every where in large amounts for very cheap |

| Senior Member | ithink your squad should fort up with provisions zombies are fairly soft so a short carbine probably in 9mm are the best as some longer shots may be necessary and you always need to squirt out the back of the head best post i have seen in a long time runfiverun |
