| What are they going to do with all of these.
Got thinking earlier, Remington makes or imports the Premier line O/Us, the Parker SxS, the Spartan 310 and 210 doubles. And now with the recent purchase of Marlin the L.C. Smith. Think they'll keep them all?

I don't see why not. I think the SPS line of Baikal Shotguns has brought in more money recently than any other Remington Firearm (except for the M700).

It is to Remington's advantage to have as wide a product line from the affordable to the exotic. Some of these may become marginal in terms of sales volume but it is the presence they want as, if nothing else, this will keep certain competitors at bay. I would think in the future the better sellers will begin to have Remington's name move to the forefront and the present name begin to receed in the marketing effort. |
