| 22 Squirrel centerfire
Got on to Samll Caliber News site and theres an article about a centerfire round called 22 Squirrel. Sounds like the ultimate in Long range accuracy! Small Caliber News: The voice of small-caliber shooters |

Interesting article CZer.I have been hearing a little about this caliber and if a guy enjoys reloading as well as Squirrel hunting, it could be what he is looking for.It is not near of a hyper round as one would think, considering it is a centerfire.

Only problem most Game and Fish Commisions don't allow centerfire for squirrel hunting.

You're right A.H.! They're illegal in KY for squirrels, I Think? But here is one to my understanding was great for squirrels & varmints and it's rimfire. Don't know for sure how it compares to the 17's but from what little I've heard it's sounds comparable to the 22 Sq.? The old 5mm http://www.varminter.com/2008/5mmrrm.html/ Well? Try this?
