Is there an online site to find out the year a Taurus model 66 was made? The new model 66 is a seven round and my (new to me) 66 is a six round gun.

He he. My Model 66 is damn near 22 years old. And it still shoots as sweet as the day I bought it!

The Taurus website provides a section where you can input your serial number and get some information on your particular firearm including the date of manufacture. However, the last couple that I tried to look up came up with no information available. Called this number though (305-624-1115) and got all the information that I was looking for.
