Easy M1 Rifle Question

Gentlemen,
OK, what makes you think that the M1 Semiautomatic Rifle, or M1 Rifle got the name of the man who made it. Better known as the M1 Garand? I said it was easy.

A Veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard, or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to “The United States of America” for an amount of “up to and including my life.”

Thanks again for taking the time and effort to read this data. I hope you have learned a little of the history of the M1 Garand.

Easy answer: Lots of people call it the "Garand," but that is not it's name.
