i found this old rifle when i was working at the junkyard up the road and they all said it was worth a good bit does anyone know how much this rifle is worth it still works

From The Standard Catalog of Firearms, 2004 edition:

Winchester Model 60
Single-shot bolt-action, .22S,L,LR
Produced from 1931 to 1934.
Exc - $400, VG - $250, Good - $200, Fair - $150, Poor - $100

I believe this rifle was replaced by the model 67. It is similar in that it has to be cocked seperately. The 67's are beginning to be worth some money. I have 2 and love them. Very accurate and well made.
