What do I have here ? I bought this for a unrefusable price from a fella who had no idea what it was other than an "old army gun with a bayonet " and sling !
I'm thinking a late war put-together...
No Russian X's , no duffle-cut.
Laminated stocks , oil finish
Total mismatched in numbers , only the receiver and barrel are the same.
Even the bolt has 3 different numbers.
Shoots great ! metal finish at 95%+
All I needed to do was to clean off years of dust n' dirt and re-oil.

The bayo , incidently , is in top condition as well
Stamped 42 CUL in stylized script and what appears to be a J (stylized ) on the other side.
