| my bf owns a Glock 22 and we've just gone half and half on a Glock 17, our xmas gift to one another, lol. As everyone else has mentioned, it's reliable and when it shoots, it shoots. However, i do find that they are hard to hold because i have small hands. but as time goes on, i'm getting used to it and it is amazing! |

| You made a decent choice. Over the years I have had many Glocks, 9mm & .45ACP, now I'm down to just one, Glock 33/.357SIG along with an extra barrel in .40S&W. It is my main conceal carry most of the time. Good luck with your Glock with many more to come. Remember there is a seat for every butt, a pistol for every confidence and skill level.

| Congratulations SL on the new member of the family. I took the big jump today and put a Glock 19 on layaway. I wish I could handle the .45 but a bad wrist won't stand the recoils. Thanks for the reminders about the 'no safety' guys.

| Well, everyone, here is my perspective on the GLOCK 19!! YIPPEEE!!! WHOW!!! WONDERFUL!!! FABULOUS!!! STUPENDOUS!!! FANTASTIC!!! I could go on, but I think you get the general idea. I picked up my 19 yesterday, I would have gotten it sooner but my friendly neighborhood gun shop is only open on the weekends, and couldn't wait to get it home and try it out. I put about 50 rounds through it, shooting at a silhouette target about 40 feet away from where I was standing. All but two shots were center mass with three of the first 15 rounds out hitting the 'mark'. I found recoil manageable and the grip comfortable for me even with a double stacked magazine. Double stacks usually make the grip too wide for my small hand and touchy wrist to handle. I'd practiced break down on my husband's 23 and was able to field strip the 19 in a matter of seconds in order to clean it...twice...Reassembly was equally easy. My dealer gave me what I think was a good price on it (prolly because we help keep the place in business ), and at 435 dollars I think I got a pretty good deal on a sweet weapon.I can honestly say that so far I haven't found one fault with this weapon in the short time that I've owned it. I have always resisted buying a Glock because of all the hoopla over them making me think that they must be a bit overrated. Now I know different. I hope my opinion of this new member of the family doesn't change in the future, but at the moment, I highly recommend this weapon to anyone who is looking for a good, reliable 9mm.

| Glad to hear you like your new firearm redhed! You did get a good price. I got my G27 used on gunbroker.com with an extra mag, Heinie® Straight Eight™ night sights, and Pearce® +1 grip extensions for $420+$20ship+$20transfer fee, so $460 total. Keep up the good shootin'!

| Hey, all I need is some decent weather so I can get out and shoot without freezing body parts off that I might need sometime in the near future. I remember when looking forward to spring meant looking at Burpee Seed Catalogs. Now it means searching the internet for shooting ranges where the temperature is above 55 degrees.

| I've put about 75 rounds through it. Unfortunately, it's been so freaking cold here that about all you can do is bundle up, run outside, pop off a few rounds at a hasty target and then dash back inside since it's too cold to unglove in order to reload. So far, I love the G19. It's accurate with a manageable recoil and the only misfire I had was due to a faulty primer on one round. It cleared without difficulty and kept on firing accurately after that. I wish it was a little smaller for that dreamed of day in Illinois where they finally come to their senses and allow us concealed carry, but I guess that's why Glock created the G26 .

| Do you still love your Glock redhed? I just got a Glock 26 and so far I really love it, but from what I have read about them you either love Glock or hate it. What's up with that? LOL |

I just wish the weather would warm up so we could get out and do some honest shooting or a little yote hunting. It's just too freaking cold to do anything other than sit in front of the computer and read Gun and Game!

| I carry my G27 40+ hours a week, but I don't work in Law Enforcement or anything of the sort. It's my normal carry gun (open carry or concealed) and it sits comfortably in it's Blackhawk SERPA CQC holster.
