I dont know if this helps my friend, but this is how i do it with my feg P9R:
> remove the mag.
>unload the chamber and lock the slide.
now heres the crucial part (just try it though)
>pull the slide further all the way and push the slide catch. (if this does not work) use a small rubber mallet to hit the end of the slide catch gently enough to pop it out of the other end. Dont hit it hard just hit it enough to "pop" the slide catch. Once its out, well the rest just dismantles easily. When you return it latter, the first part you remove will be the last to go in. Better watch that decocker lever when you return the slide since it has the tendency to block the slide, kepping it from moving all the way back thus preventing you from inserting that stubborn slide catch again. Removing the slide catch is hard but pushing it back during assembly is of no problem. You might as well check your magazines if it seats you bullets properly (could be the cause of the jam), clean the barrel, the slide rails and the bushings. These guns are very reliable on the field, its my sidearm aside from the gov issued .45 auto (the brand i rather not mention) My feg has been with me for 6 years, the only time it jams was when it was coated with mud after 2 days in the rain and mud. But its a reliable gun. I am with the Phil Marines assigned in Basilan, Philippines. Hope I helped you with your problem regarding your feg.
