| I agree with rfc. The small Savage pistols do have collector value but not like the better known mfgs.
Parts for most old guns are hard to come by but should the need ever arise you will find them with a little perserverance.
The .32 ACP is simply a small caliber with limited energy. The Italians used the .32 as a war time side-arm and the Brits still use them for law enforcement. As a self defense weapon it will fare well with hollow points or other tactical cartridges. Stay away from FMJ's for self defense purposes...that would sort of be like getting shot with a BB Magnum.
Depending on the valueyou haveon your laptop, I'd consider the trade...shoot it first if the trader will let you. |
